Coronavirus Quarantine in the Kyrgyz Republic

First category: A country that meets any one of the above three criteria falls into this category.

A ban is introduced on entry into the Kyrgyz Republic to all foreign citizens staying, including transit, in China, Italy, Iran, Korea, France, Germany and Spain for the past 30 days.

Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who arrived from the countries of the first category, including transit, are subject to 14 days of observation in specially designated places. This category includes all citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, holders of ID cards, civil, official and diplomatic passports.

All foreign citizens, including citizens of the PRC, Italy, Iran, Korea, France, Germany, Spain, as well as citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who have not stayed in the territory of the 1st category countries for the last 30 days, can enter the Kyrgyz Republic subject to passage verification algorithm approved by order of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.

A person who violates the observational conditions is subject to prosecution in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.

 

The second category: The USA, Japan, Sweden, Switzerland, Great Britain, Belgium, and the Netherlands are assigned to the second category of countries.

All foreign citizens, as well as citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, who arrived, including in transit from category 2 countries, are subject to 14 days home quarantine.

A person who violates the conditions of home quarantine is liable in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to Article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, a person who intentionally or inadvertently violates the sanitary and epidemiological rules, who inadvertently causes a mass disease, poisoning people or other serious harm, is punished with a fine of category VI or imprisonment of category II with the deprivation of the right to hold certain posts or engage in certain activities for up to two years.

According to article 68 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, the fine of category VI for minors is from 1,200 to 1,400 calculated indicators, for other individuals - from 2,600 to 3,000 calculated indicators.

If a foreign citizen does not have the opportunity to secure home quarantine, approved by order of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, he is allowed to enter the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic on the basis of a decision of the commission created by an interdepartmental order of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (No. 43-P of 03/10/20). , The Ministry of Health (No. 140 dated 10.03.20) and the State Border Service (No. 163 dated 10.03.20) of the Kyrgyz Republic and is subject to observation for 14 days in specially designated places.

 

Third category: Singapore, Austria, Denmark, SAR China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Bahrain, Australia, Greece, Canada, Iraq, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Iraq, Egypt, Lebanon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia are classified in this category.

All foreign citizens, as well as citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, who arrived, including in transit from countries of the 3rd category, are subject to initial verification and further monitoring at home according to the algorithm approved by order of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic. At the same time, restrictions on movement through the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic for 14 days are introduced.

They are not subject to observation (with the exception of persons with clinical manifestations) provided that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic is notified in advance and the verification algorithm is mandatory, approved by order of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, employees of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in the Kyrgyz Republic, members of foreign official delegations.

These changes by category come into force for (entering the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic) citizens from March 14, 2020.
